Audi is the fledgling player in the supercar arena. Yes, it's shown numerous concepts over the years, but it wasn't until the 2007 R8 arrived that we could actually drive a supercar with Ingolstadt's four rings writ large on the grille. And what an effort: straight out of the box, the R8 has delivered a car with the poise of a 911 Carrera 4S with the ease-of-use of a Honda NSX.
I’ve always felt there to be an odd contradiction between Jaguar: image and reality. Subaru is keeping base-model prices the same for the 2012 Impreza, starting at $18,245 with destination, and is adding a Limited model to the lineup. The Impreza 2.0i Limited model starts at $22,345 for the four-door version and $22,845 for the five-door. The base-model four-door Impreza 2.0i still comes standard with five-speed manual transmission.
